The Hungry Caterpillar is a classic and a favorite with little ones. I was so happy when we finally got the book for the boys and there were so many ways we wanted to help them engage with this timeless classic. Here are some activities we've done while reading the story!
A great way to work on fine motor skills with your little one is with threading. For this fun activity all you need pipe cleaners, playdoh and googly eyes for the head, and apple Jack's or whatever cereal you have on hand. This kept my 2 and 3 year old busy for about half an hour.
I love pulling out this out when we read our story. It keeps the boys following along and engaged. We love watching how big the Caterpillar get as the story goes on!
Check back as were always adding to our fun list and please be sure to check out other fun activities down below!
