Waffles Recipe

Updated: Apr 28, 2024

Yummy waffles that the family will enjoy!

My partner absolutely adores having waffles in the morning. They find them incredibly satisfying, and the versatility of toppings makes them irresistible. Interested in trying out our waffle recipe? It's bound to be a hit with your family!

Delicious straight off the waffle iron, and just as wonderful when frozen for later. It's the perfect combination of convenience and taste, without breaking the bank!

List of Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups (270g) flour

  • 3/4 tsp salt

  • 1 tbsp baking powder

  • 1/2 cup (113g) melted butter

  • 1/4 cup (50g) sugar

  • 2 eggs

  • 2 tsp vanilla

  • 2 cups milk

Grab these ingredients from Instacart down below.

Step 1: Preheat Waffle Iron

This isn't going to take long to get the batter ready, so first we need to get our waffle iron hot.

Step 2: Mix Dry Ingredients

In a mixing bowl add flour, baking powder and salt. Give it a good whisk to avoid any pockets of one ingredient.

Step 3: Mix Wet Ingredients

In a separate mixing bowl add melted butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla, and milk. Give it a good whisk.

Step 4: Combine Ingredients

Add your dry ingredients to your wet ingredients and give it a good mix. If you want to add fruit, chocolate chips, or something else, this would be the time. Just add before the batter is completely mixed.

Step 5: Add Batter to Waffle Iron

Add your batter to the waffle iron and cook for time given by your waffle maker. Different waffle irons may vary in times. Usually, we make ours for about 4-5 minutes.

There are so many ways you can spice up your waffles in the morning and that's the best thing about this recipe!
