Updated: May 9, 2024

A yummy bread that takes care of that sweet craving you may have. A great recipe the whole family will love!

Tired of letting the bananas go to waste, I had to figure something out. If I'm being honest, before I started making banana bread on my own, I've probably had it twice, but this recipe here makes me feel like I've been missing out all this time!

This banana bread is a great way to get your picky eater to eat bananas!

List of Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cups (210g) flour

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/2 cup room temp butter

  • 3/4 cups brown sugar

  • 3-4 overripe bananas

Grab these ingredients on Instacart with the link below!

Step 1: Preheat Oven

The batter won't take long to make, preheat the oven to 375 degrees.

Step 2: Mix Dry Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, add your flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Give it a good mix so that everything is blended together.

Step 2: Mix Wet Ingredients

In a separate mixing bowl, add your room temp butter, brown sugar, and bananas. Give it a good mix.

Step 3: Combine Ingredients

Add your dry ingredients to your wet ingredients and mix until it is almost completely mixed together. This is when you will add the chocolate chips. Save a handful to sprinkle on top once in the pan.

Step 4: Bake

Fill the batter into your bread pan, sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips on top for visuals and pop that pan into the oven for 50-60 minutes, depending on how hot your oven gets. It helps to check at the 50 minute mark and adjust your time from that point
