This quick and easy recipe will be your new obsession!
Looking for something sweet to eat, this may be for you! We always have peanut butter in our house, so peanut butter cookies are always a treat!
You can even add chocolate chips to make it even sweeter! I love adding chocolate chips to any dessert!
Your List of Ingredients
1 stick of room temp butter
1/2 cup of sugar
1/2 cup of light brown sugar
1 cup of peanut butter
1 egg
2 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cups flour (187g)
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 sea salt
Step 1: Preheat oven
This cookie dough is going to come together pretty quick, so make sure you preheat your oven to 350 degrees!
Step 2: Mix Wet Ingredients
In a bowl, mis together your butter, sugar, peanut butter, egg, and vanilla. The aroma is going to be amazing with the peanut butter and vanilla.
Step 3: Mix Dry Ingredients
In a separate bowl, measure out your flour, baking soda and sea salt into a sifter. I like to prep the dry ingredients in a separate bowl to prevent over mixing the flour. Once sifted, you're going to combine your wet and dry ingredients and give it a good mix until the flour is incorporated.
Step 4: Roll out your cookies
I use a measuring spoon (1 TBS) and scoop out my cookies and place them on a baking sheet and this usually gives me 25-27 cookies. To get the signature peanut butter cookie lines, use a fork and press lightly into the cookie.
Step 5: Bake
Pop those cookies into the oven for 10 minutes and once taken out the oven let them rest for a few minutes before transferring over to a cooling pan.
I love adding chocolate chips to the batter to get that Reese cup vibe, completely optional! If you like this recipe check out more down below!
