Story time at the library is a great way to get the little ones out the house and practice being in a group setting. A skill that's going to be needed once they start school. Did you know that some public libraries offer story time along with other family friendly activities? It's important that we take advantage of activities like this because we don't want to lose them! Plus, what's wrong with your little ones falling in love with books?
The first time we took the boys to story time, they had a ball. We were greeted by friendly staff and met a wonderful youth librarian. We started with a quick story (since it was the boys first visit) and once story time was over the boys played with Legos and used the computer for Sesame Street games. We ended with a Mother's Day craft and before we left the librarian let the boys pick a book to take home along with a snack! It was a great experience for the entire family!
